Studio Cake is the combination of everything I love in life.... the evolution of a ceramic sculptor, Stanford grad, former NASA engineer, kitchen enthusiast and mom of two to cake designer and baker. Not formally trained in pastry, I have a slightly offbeat, non conventional, learn as you go mentality.... and as a person who is quick to dream, laugh and do, jumping in head first with a large grin is everyday for me!
When folks ask, "what is your style at Studio Cake?", my answer is very simple.... "making yours shine in cake!". My goal each day is to listen to what you love, embrace your event as a part of my life, and make a cake that is a special part of a special time for you. Kinda simple, but to the point. The way life and a slice of cake should be.

Studio Cakes are unique collaborations - that being said, pricing will vary with the size and complexity of the design.
Our buttercream frosted cakes start at
$9.00 per serving for naked cakes
$10.00 per serving for textured buttercream styles
$12.50 per serving for super smooth finished buttercream
Our basic white chocolate covered cakes start at $12.00 per serving
Custom tiered cakes generally range from $10-20 per serving
All of our flavors are available in gluten free version at a $2 per serving additional charge
Our shop minimum is $1,000
tasting and design consultations
In house tastings/design consultations are $100, the price of which will be applied to the cost of the cake upon booking.
delivery
Studio Cake is based in Menlo Park, California and delivers within the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Napa, Sonoma and Carmel. Delivery and set-up charges start at $50 and scale based upon distance, travel time and complexity of set-up.

We'd love to meet you!... A couple of things to know about us... we are a small custom cake shop and tend to book up fast! We take all of our orders at least one month in advance, subject to availability... given that, don't delay! Send an email, give a call or launch a carrier pigeon as soon as you know your event date!
